Some wounds don’t need talking through—they need rinsing off.
Your mind’s tangled. Your spirit’s humming. Your body feels heavy in its own bones. It’s time to work a full-body swamp reset.
This ain’t a bath for show—this is a ritual. A cleansing. A return to stillness.
We’re not just cleaning skin. We’re cleaning’ energy.

Roots & Bits (What You’ll Need):
- Bayou Black Salt or sea salt
- Swamp Healing Oil (Bayou Stillness or a blend with lavender, vetiver, rosemary)
- Fresh herbs: lemongrass, rosemary, or mugwort (dried is fine)
- A blue candle
- A metal or glass bowl of water (or a bath)
- Optional: Spanish moss, bone charm, cypress leaves
The Ritual Work:
Start by lighting your candle. Let the flame be your witness.
Place it near your bath, shower, or bowl.
Next, set your intent. Whisper this (or in your own words):
“What clings to me must go. What’s heavy, I release. I call back what was stolen.”
Now, it’s time to add your salt to a warm bath. You can add all the herbs to the bath as well. If you are showering, add them to a bowl instead.
Add a drop or two of oil(s) and stir.
If you’re bathing: Soak for 15–20 min. Don’t speak. Let the water listen.
If you’re showering: Pour water slowly over your head, shoulders, feet—front to back.
Visualize muck, noise, and grief sliding off.
As you soak, speak the following:
“Swamp silence, settle me.
Moss and mud, pull what clings.
Salt and leaf, cleanse me whole.
May peace return and shadow go.”
If you can, allow your body to air dry. No towel. Let the air kiss your skin.
Anoint yourself with oil afterward and speak gratitude.
Dispose of Water Thoughtfully
Pour the bathwater outside at the roots of a tree, or flush it with thanks.

Mama Sha’ Final Thoughts:
Babies, this ain’t pampering. It’s remembering.
The swamps and bayous teach us stillness, not silence.
She teaches you to release what doesn’t serve, but she also reminds you that you are part of the land. And the land doesn’t forget how to heal.
You are healed. You are seen. You are sacred.
