Send that Shit Back Where it Came From!

Someone done you wrong, baby?

Need to defend yourself by reflecting the wrongdoer’s evil intent back on him or herself? Want to ensure the target will not only fail to harm you any further but will actually suffer the consequences of what they have tried to send your way?

Return to Sender

Gather up the following:

  • A wooden hinged box (you can them on Amazon, at Hobby Lobby, etc)
  • Small mirrors (again, look to the Craft store, or Amazon)
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Grey Candle
  • Reversing Conjure Oil
  • Small piece of cloth (about the size of a sheet of paper)
  • Personal effects belonging to the target (if possible)
  • Photo of the target (if possible)
  • About 2’ of string
  • Ace of Spades from a playing card deck
  • Small piece of parchment paper
  • Pen

Acquire a hinged wooden box from a craft store. Affix mirrors inside with hot glue. During a Dark Moon, create a poppet of the person doing damage. Use any personal effect that you may have: photo, piece of clothing, hair, nail clippings, saliva, etc. Use a piece of fabric to create a small poppet of the person.  Miss Sha’ has a great video on YouTube of how to make a quick no-sew poppet for use. Check it out!

If you have nothing that belongs to the target, use an Ace of Spades card in it’s place. Write their name and as much information about them as you can on the back of the card. Dress the card with reversing oil. Also dress a grey candle with reversing oil and light it. *Grey candles are the perfect color for letting go, releasing negative energies, as well as sending shit back where it originated!

If you work with Deities, choose a God or Goddess associated with vengeance and seeking revenge – such as Cailleach or Nemesis. You can call on the Norse God, Vidar, or even Erzuli Dantor who is best known for her protection from violence, but also her strength and vengeance. Explain to them, in detail, what you are seeking and why.

Cailleach

Hold the poppet tightly in your hands and visualize your target being overcome with suffering, difficulty and chaos if they send any additional energy your way. Place the poppet, any remaining items you have, and the photo or Ace card, in the mirror box. Forcefully close the box. Seal the box with wax from the grey candle.

You will want to bury this box in a cemetery. Depending upon what type of outcome you want, will determine where you choose to bury it within the cemetery. Bury it on the south end of the cemetery if you are seeking vindication. Opt for the east side if an apology is more what you seek. The west will cause remorse and ultimately, the north side works well if you don’t want to hear from this person ever again.

Once buried, walk away and do not look back.

Army of Grey

Sending Healing Energies Across the Miles

Sending Healing Energies Across the Miles

For this spell, you will need:

  • A white candle (any size)
  • Healing or Protective Oil (we use Holy Blessing Conjure Oil)
  • Piece of paper
  • Pencil
  • Small Dish

hands_light-680x380

One of the questions I am most often asked is about sending someone healing energies from a distance. While there is no perfect way of doing this, with proper and focused intent, it can be accomplished. One quick and easy way that I have used on many occasions is to write out a quick little petition or prayer on a piece of paper. Keep it short, sweet and to the point. Be as specific as possible. Sometimes I will write psalms that I have chosen down, as well. Psalm 121 (see below) is a good one to use when sending healing energies to someone in need.

You will then place the paper in a bowl and anoint it with a healing or protection oil. For something like this, I use Holy Blessing Conjure Oil. This oil is our version of Fiery Wall of Protection Oil, with some added oomph. At this time, also dress the white candle with the oil. Visualize the energies surrounding the person you will sending them to. If you want, you may carve the name of the target on the side of the candle. Light the candle and allow it to burn. Spend some time focused on the energies you are sending. Speak the psalms or prayer that you have chosen.

When the candle is spent, and you feel good about the working, remove the petition from the dish and allow it to dry. Once dry, there are several things you can do. You can bury it, you can burn it, or I like to add it to a small mojo or gris gris and send it to the person. Have them carry it with them for a time.

Dispose of the candle wax in a trash receptacle.

Psalm 121 – A song of ascents.

I lift up my eyes to the mountains –

Where does my help come from?

My help comes from the Lord,

The Maker of heaven and earth.

He does not let your foot stumble –

                Your guard does not slumber.

Agate, Banish, Candle Spell, Cut & Clear, Depression, Empower, Harmony, Holiday Season, Joy, Pagan, Spell, Witch

This time of year – even the happiest and joyful of personalities can feel the weight of the world on their shoulders. The holiday season creates much chaos and depression.

hqdefault

Depression Relief Spell

The Goods:

White candle – taper or votive (not glass encased)

Blue Agate stone

Black Marker – wide tip

Lemon Balm – loose herb

Cut & Clear Oil

Small cloth pouch

Begin by completely coloring the white candle black with your marker. This symbolizes the depression that is presently encasing you.

Light the candle and say the following:

‘Flame cut through depression deep,

Melt it down and make it weep.

Grant me power to re-emerge,

From it’s grip, I leap and surge!’

Watch the candle burn until the white wax appears at the flame. Extinguish the candle if you need, or if you are able, add a drop of Cut and Clear oil near the flame. (Relight the candle if you extinguished it) Hold the Blue Agate stone in your hands and say:

‘Agate, stone of mellow hue, Dissolve this depression, I beg of you. Take its power and transform it’s strength, Into positive energy I can use at length.’

masking-depression

Lightly rub the stone against your temples, your third eye and then your heart. Place it in front of the candle and sprinkle lemon balm around it.

Let the candle burn completely.

When the candle is spent, place the stone, herbs and a piece of wax in a cloth pouch and carry it with you.

When your spirits need a lift, re-anoint the stone with Cut and Clear Oil and repeat it’s empowerment chant.

Side note:  Agate, especially blue, helps one reach high spiritual places through peace, as well as patience and understanding. It’s associated with hope, cleansing, harmony, protection, positive thinking, joy, truth and promptness.

Simplistically easy…and yet quite effective!

Binding Chant

The Goods:

  • Black Ribbon or Cord
  • Object to represent the target
    • Doll, photo, candle, etc

Begin slowly wrapping the object with the cord while saying:

“By Air and Earth –
By Water and Fire –
So you’ll be bound,
As I desire.
By the power of mind,
Your influence I bind.
By Moon and Sun
This working is done
By Sky and Sea
Keep all harm from me.
As cord goes round,
All your power is bound.
Light revealed
Now be sealed.”
Bury in the ground, face down.

Lover Return Spells. . .

Spells to make a lover return….

*sigh*

this should always be accompanied with the ‘You sure you REALLY want this lover back’ spells… LOL

Lover return work is messy… at best.

It is important to remember that once a relationship is over – it can never be again. That’s not to say that you can’t have another, different, relationship with the same person…but what you had…is gone.

I hear it all the time – ‘I just want her back. Like the way it was. The good times.’

I’m sorry honey… but it’s impossible – on a metaphysical plane, in reality. It simply cannot be. And once returned – the person is never the same. They are often very different – and sadly…

I have performed countless Lover Return and Lover Reconciliation spells for clients, over the years. Most… are indeed successful…. at some point. But I have also lost count of the number of times a client has contacted me asking if I can reverse the Return Lover spells –

Have you not seen movies like Pumpkin Head and Pet Semetery?

Be careful (and mindful) of what you wish for!

But, with all that being said, here is a little spell you can try on your own.

il_fullxfull-1076891233_8til

Voodoo Spell To Bring Back An Ex

The Goods:
• Pink candle
• Lover Return / Reconciliation Oil
• Pink or Red Construction paper/cardboard
• Scissors
• A Plate
• 2 Cups sugar (I prefer brown sugar when working conjure)
• 3 Dried Rose Buds
• A Tablespoon or so of cinnamon / cinnamon sticks

Anoint your candle –
Mix the Sugar with the Rose Buds and cinnamon.
Cut a paper voodoo doll out of the pink or red paper.
As you light the candle, be aware that fire has an affinity to the spiritual realm. Be conscious.
Write your petition (be specific – wishes, desires and goals) on the back of the doll.
Write your lovers name on the front of your voodoo doll 13 times.
Cross over each name with your own.
Place the Voodoo doll on the plate and cover it with the sugar and herbs.
Place the candle in the center of the sugar/herb mix. Say your wishes aloud, with as much energy as you can.
Allow the candle to burn for 13 minutes a day, for 13 days.
After the 13th day burning, place the doll in a safe place and keep it until the wishes and desires have begun to manifest themselves.
When all is complete – return the doll to spirits – by burning or burying it.

Just remember… Miss Sha’ warned ya, chere!

Behind the Mask . . .

Let’s face it – most of us have been hurt in some form or fashion by someone we really cared about.

That’s life – it happens to the best of us. But occasionally, we are unfortunate enough to care about a drama queen (or king). I’m not talking typical drama either – I mean the kind that will rip your heart out because you wound up caring for them and they finally tired of playing with you and tossed you aside like a worn out teddy bear. The kind of person that dawns a perfect window dressing to hide the counterfeit that they really are.

venice-mask1

Oh, these pretentious, two-faced bastards will act soft and innocent around you – but get them in a crowd where they are the center of attention – and honey, you would swear they could win an Oscar for their performance.

Yeah you right, Chere – you got somebody in mind, don’t ya?

So what do you do when they really need a taste of their own medicine? When you want, no need, to show their little horde of unsuspecting minions who they really are?

I can tell you what a Swamp Witch does – she turns ’em into Roadkill!

Background-roadkill

Yes, darlin’ – Roadkill! That stinking, rotting mess that we see on the side of the road!

This Swamp Witch don’t mess around! I will use what the swamp and the bayou provide to get the job done! Any roadkill will do. It’s nasty work – but the benefits you reap afterward are more than worth it!

I will baptize the roadkill as your specified target – and then wrap it in brightly colored yarns and ribbons and pretty things! You know… to make the target feel like we are buying into their sham.

Some energy work, a little altar and candle magick are done, as well as a few other things to complete the process.

Petitions are written to the spirits, offerings are made.

The bright colored bundle is placed on a silver platter and paraded around – treated like the royalty they THINK they are.

It’s a party, boys and girls!

But guess what?

That beautiful bright colored bundle of stink is about to get what it has coming to them –

I set that baby on fire! Oh yeah – we talkin’ bonfire!

As it is consumed by flames – all those brightly colored fragile ribbons and yarns begin to melt away – the pseudo identity falling to the wayside leaving behind their true ‘colors’.

Just wait… the best is yet to come.

If you are patient, and observant, you will get to see their entourage of minions leave them… very reminiscent of rats abandoning a sinking ship!

Rats-Running-Titanic-1

Why would they want to hang around a big piece of rotting, festering chaos? They usually don’t want to have much to do with the target after something like this. It creates havoc and chaos in the target’s life. Everything they touch stinks to high heaven! By the time the conjure wears off – they are usually left all alone. With little to no successes, no friends, a shell of their former know-it-all Queen (or King) Bee selves.

This is actually a very effective, and generally pretty long-lasting bayou conjure that I am becoming known for! So, reach out to me if you are still thinking of that person you were earlier. Yeah, Chere, I could see those wheels a-turnin’!

Roadkill 2
Makin' the Roadkill purdy!
Makin’ the Roadkill purdy!

As I’ve said before – I don’t mess around!

I don’t do nice! And I don’t do passive aggressive!

You come to me with your problem and I’ll fix you right up.

At the very least – I will make you feel better and put a satisfied smile on your face!

Roadkill 5
Set that baby on fire!!
Set that baby on fire!!

I have a lot of experience working swamp conjures. I have seen the results with my own eyes. I use a great deal of energy for my workings and tricks – but I always give proper abundance of thanks to the Bayou and the spirits!

Lately, I have been asked about suggested reading material. I know that many others, from time to time, will offer up a list of “good reads”.  Over the years, I have written down the titles of books that I either read from cover to cover and couldn’t put down, or, titles of books that I use as reference… ALOT!

Many of these books are also found on the suggested reading lists of other practitioners – such as Moma Sarah (Conjured Cardea), Matthew Venus, even Starr Casas herself, has recommended many of these. This is NOT all inclusive, but will give a very well-rounded picture! Enjoy!

2

Inexplicable Things’ Suggested Reading List –
(These are my personal favorites & those that I have found beneficial throughout my life)

* Sticks, Stones, Roots and Bones – Stephanie Rose Bird (I love anything this lady writes!)
* Black & White Magic (attributed to Marie Laveau) – by Bivins, N.D.P
* The Key of Solomon the King: Clavicula Salomonis (translated by S.L. MacGregor Mathers)
* Backwood Shamanism – Ray Hess
* Encyclopedia of 5,000 Spells – Judika Illes (I love all of her stuff!)
* Candle and the Crossroads – Orion Foxwood
* Jambalaya – Luisah Teish
* Hoodoo, Herb, and Root Magic – Catherine Yronwode
* Healing with Herbs and Rituals – Eliseo Torres
* Of Mules and Men – Zora Hurston
* Santeria Formulary & Spellbook – Carlos Montenegro (Love Carlos’s work, as well!)
* The Conjure Workbook – Volume One – Starr Casas
* The Master Book of Candle Burning – Henry Gamache
* Voodoo & Hoodoo – Jim Haskins
* The Magical Power of the Saints – Ray Malbrough
* Papa Jim’s Herbal Magick Workbook
* Spiritual Cleansing – Draja Mickaharic
* Mayombero: Black Magic Rituals – Carlos Montenegro

Louisiana Mud Mouth

27 Wednesday Jan 2016

Bayou, Cajun, Conjure, Dark, Death, Gossip, Hoodoo, Louisiana, Lwa, Magick, Mud, Outdoors, Spells, Spirits, STFU, Swamp, Tapa Boca, Tongue, Witch

So, tell me this… what does a Swamp Witch do when she needs to make someone shut the hell up?

Why, Mud Mouth, of course!

My brand of Mud Mouth conjure is solely my own – a little different than most Tapa Boca workings –

Got someone running their mouth and not minding their own lane?

Someone spreading rumors or lies – that is harming you or someone you love?

Let me tell ya, Chere, how this Swamp Witch would handle that. First – you need to get a tongue.

Yes, a REAL tongue.

 Mud Mouth 1

No matter the critter, no matter how you get it, just get it. Choose your time (you’ll know when the time is right) and you use the spirits as your guide. When you take to doing serious conjure – they know you ain’t playin’.

Your desired outcome is what is important here.

Now, everyone does things a little differently.

A Swamp Witch bases her magick and conjure on what is available and what is relevant. A person running their mouth – well, I want to sour their words. Every time they speak about me or my client, I want them to taste a nasty, foul taste – like rotten onions, rancid vinegar, lemons. But, I also want them to hurt themselves when they speak against me. So something sharp like glass shards or rusty nails is appropriate. After I include all the business I need to, I sew that bad boy back up. Sealing that nastiness inside their tongue – along with my petition to the Lwas – and mark it.

Mud Mouth 2

A Swamp Witch then uses what she knows… bayou magick.

Ohhhh, Louisiana, land that I love. The things you give me and the things you let me give to you in return.

Louisiana, as is much of the South, is known for its murky backwaters – those slow moving, sometimes dank and mysterious, waterways that makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up. You wouldn’t dare put your bare feet in them…right?

Well, those of us that call these places home learn to love them. The bayous and swamps are full of life – teeming with creatures, plants and sounds.

The bayou will give life – but she will just as quickly take it away, you can bet your ass on that.

The swamps are known for many things – one of them being mud. Sure, mud is everywhere – but the swamp mud… now that’s a mess. The mud here… it’s different. This mud is strong – resilient – and has a mind of its own. This mud, if left to dry in the sun, bakes into concrete. Absolutely perfect for shutting someone the hell up! I use it anytime I want to fill a targets mouth with dirty mud – every time they speak against me. Pack it full – don’t be shy!

Once I do this – it’s time to give it to the Bayou – she will take it from there. The alligators will eat that crap! They will come along and make a meal out of that tongue! If not the ‘gators, the turtles, the crabs, the crawfish, the snakes, the gar… maybe the Rougarou… but something will have a time with that tongue!

Once back home – no good Cajun would end the evening without a little drink and a little music – in honor of the Lwas, the Spirits, and the Bayou.

This Swamp Witch doesn’t play nice.

I don’t do nice.

And I damn sure don’t do passive aggressive.

I shoot for the throat, the first chance I get.

I have a lot of experience working this conjure – it only gets more powerful each time I work it. I have seen the results with my own eyes – my clients that choose this working are now believers. I expend a great deal of energy doing this… but I always give proper abundance of thanks to the Bayou and the spirits.

I offer this service on my website, www.inexplicablethings.com.

Please keep in mind – this is not the typical Tapa Boca, or STFU. It’s much more powerful than a Stop Gossip or Hush Yer Mouth. This is when you REALLY… REALLY need to shut someone up!

Please feel free to contact me with any questions, concerns or comments.

My front stoop is always open, and the sweet tea never runs out. Ca c’est bon!
