Sending Healing Energies Across the Miles

For this spell, you will need:

  • A white candle (any size)
  • Healing or Protective Oil (we use Holy Blessing Conjure Oil)
  • Piece of paper
  • Pencil
  • Small Dish

One of the questions I am most often asked is about sending someone healing energies from a distance. While there is no perfect way of doing this, with proper and focused intent, it can be accomplished. One quick and easy way that I have used on many occasions is to write out a quick little petition or prayer on a piece of paper. Keep it short, sweet and to the point. Be as specific as possible. Sometimes I will write psalms that I have chosen down, as well. Psalm 121 (see below) is a good one to use when sending healing energies to someone in need.

You will then place the paper in a bowl and anoint it with a healing or protection oil. For something like this, I use Holy Blessing Conjure Oil. This oil is our version of Fiery Wall of Protection Oil, with some added oomph. At this time, also dress the white candle with the oil. Visualize the energies surrounding the person you will sending them to. If you want, you may carve the name of the target on the side of the candle. Light the candle and allow it to burn. Spend some time focused on the energies you are sending. Speak the psalms or prayer that you have chosen.

When the candle is spent, and you feel good about the working, remove the petition from the dish and allow it to dry. Once dry, there are several things you can do. You can bury it, you can burn it, or I like to add it to a small mojo or gris gris and send it to the person. Have them carry it with them for a time.

Dispose of the candle wax in a trash receptacle.

Psalm 121 – A song of ascents.

I lift up my eyes to the mountains –

Where does my help come from?

My help comes from the Lord,

The Maker of heaven and earth.

He does not let your foot stumble –

                Your guard does not slumber.
