Let’s face it – most of us have been hurt in some form or fashion by someone we really cared about.

That’s life – it happens to the best of us. But occasionally, we are unfortunate enough to care about a drama queen (or king). I’m not talking typical drama either – I mean the kind that will rip your heart out because you wound up caring for them and they finally tired of playing with you and tossed you aside like a worn out teddy bear. The kind of person that dawns a perfect window dressing to hide the counterfeit that they really are.

venice-mask1

Oh, these pretentious, two-faced bastards will act soft and innocent around you – but get them in a crowd where they are the center of attention – and honey, you would swear they could win an Oscar for their performance.

Yeah you right, Chere – you got somebody in mind, don’t ya?

So what do you do when they really need a taste of their own medicine? When you want, no need, to show their little horde of unsuspecting minions who they really are?

I can tell you what a Swamp Witch does – she turns ’em into Roadkill!

Background-roadkill

Yes, darlin’ – Roadkill! That stinking, rotting mess that we see on the side of the road!

This Swamp Witch don’t mess around! I will use what the swamp and the bayou provide to get the job done! Any roadkill will do. It’s nasty work – but the benefits you reap afterward are more than worth it!

I will baptize the roadkill as your specified target – and then wrap it in brightly colored yarns and ribbons and pretty things! You know… to make the target feel like we are buying into their sham.

Some energy work, a little altar and candle magick are done, as well as a few other things to complete the process.

Petitions are written to the spirits, offerings are made.

The bright colored bundle is placed on a silver platter and paraded around – treated like the royalty they THINK they are.

It’s a party, boys and girls!

But guess what?

That beautiful bright colored bundle of stink is about to get what it has coming to them –

I set that baby on fire! Oh yeah – we talkin’ bonfire!

As it is consumed by flames – all those brightly colored fragile ribbons and yarns begin to melt away – the pseudo identity falling to the wayside leaving behind their true ‘colors’.

Just wait… the best is yet to come.

If you are patient, and observant, you will get to see their entourage of minions leave them… very reminiscent of rats abandoning a sinking ship!

Rats-Running-Titanic-1

Why would they want to hang around a big piece of rotting, festering chaos? They usually don’t want to have much to do with the target after something like this. It creates havoc and chaos in the target’s life. Everything they touch stinks to high heaven! By the time the conjure wears off – they are usually left all alone. With little to no successes, no friends, a shell of their former know-it-all Queen (or King) Bee selves.

This is actually a very effective, and generally pretty long-lasting bayou conjure that I am becoming known for! So, reach out to me if you are still thinking of that person you were earlier. Yeah, Chere, I could see those wheels a-turnin’!

Roadkill 2
Makin' the Roadkill purdy!
Makin’ the Roadkill purdy!

As I’ve said before – I don’t mess around!

I don’t do nice! And I don’t do passive aggressive!

You come to me with your problem and I’ll fix you right up.

At the very least – I will make you feel better and put a satisfied smile on your face!

Roadkill 5
Set that baby on fire!!
Set that baby on fire!!

I have a lot of experience working swamp conjures. I have seen the results with my own eyes. I use a great deal of energy for my workings and tricks – but I always give proper abundance of thanks to the Bayou and the spirits!

February 14 –

Conjures up images of baby cupids in diapers, arrows with heart-shaped tips, and little hearts floating over couples’ heads.

creepy-cupid

But what about those of us that are Anti-Valentine’s Day?

Valentine’s Day isn’t all about love… or a diaper-clad baby shooting arrows at people… it’s also about those that can’t get rid of someone, that person that just refuses to let you go… and this day has some historical disasters.

Emo-Love-emo-5777744-500-336

Every year, around this time, I do a special Anti-Valentine’s Day Unbinding Ritual.

Specifically designed for those that really need to get someone the hell outta their life, and unbind someone from them. Maybe you have a negative influence from someone that just won’t let you move on. Or even a stalker! Ex-lover from your past that holds a torch for you that is causing problems.

90d504aca0c203734d3d60234d77930d

Miss Sha’s own special way to rid herself of a nuisance. Severance Package is, at it’s basic, a severe Unbinding of Two Hearts. Specifically designed for those that really need to get someone the hell outta their life, unbind someone from you. Maybe you have a negative influence from someone that just won’t let you move on. Or even a stalker! Ex-lover from your past that holds a torch for you that is causing problems.
It’s fairly powerful work – she has a specific spot in a cemetery where she works. Two Hearts (yes, real animal hearts) are baptized with the appropriate oils and then bound together. A Kukri style machete – that has been rumored to have taken a life – is used to severe the connection between the two hearts – VIOLENTLY. A bit more conjure work is done and then the two pieces are disposed of after a certain specified number of days, at opposite ends of the bayou. By then, the connection is properly withered and dying – the disposal helps put the final nail in the coffin of this relationship.

Clients will be provided with photos and proof that the work being done is for their particular situation.

Perfectly designed to cut the ties that bind between two people.

I am only able to perform a handful of these services – due to the amount of energy required, so it is first come, first serve.

Karma – Shamarma . . .

Karmically-speaking, I expect most of you will believe I shall be struck down by lightning before I finish this post.  I don’t “do” karma… I’m a realist.

Karma – noun – is defined by the folks at Merriam-Webster as,

‘: the force created by a person’s actions that is believed in Hinduism and Buddhism to determine what the person’s next life will be like

: the force created by a person’s actions that some people believe causes good or bad things to happen to that person.’  (www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/karma, 2015)

karma bitch

So, basically, this means that every time something negative happens in my life, it is a direct response to something that I have done – of comparable negativity, at the very least.

Hmmm… okay.

Well, if this is the case, then I could spend the rest of my days worrying about all that I have done that may be considered negative to, well, anyone. Oh my! I think I foresee an ulcer somewhere in my future.

Now, let’s throw in the belief of the Three-Fold Law, which is basic to any Wiccan belief system. This “law” – often called The Rule of Three, essentially states that what you put out into the world is returned to you, magnified by three. It’s karma…for pagans, period. This goes hand in hand with the Wiccan Rede. The Rede is stated in a variety of forms, but the gist is ‘an it harm none, do what ye will.’ So, in non-pagan, muggles, what-have-you’s terms – if it won’t in any way, shape, or form harm anyone or anything else, then by all means, put it out there.

327

But see, therein lies the rub – for me, anyway.

I am what you would call pagan – I follow a polytheistic belief, based on ancient matriarchal and Earth based views, and I have been spiritually “religious” all of my life – which is over 4 decades at the time of this writing. And throughout this life, I have tried to be “good” – at least in my eyes.

Now, this is where my confusion comes in. If, as Pagans, (and yes, many have told me they don’t like organized religion) we don’t “do” organized religion and we don’t like being told what to think and who to follow and where to worship – then why must someone else deem what is “good”… or what is bad. Or maybe it should be stated, positive and negative. Until someone has walked a mile, in my shoes, they better not be trying to tell me that what I do is good or bad…or anything, for that matter.

Now, before jumping all over me – I do understand about the notion of changing free will. I have been told that true Witch’s will not put anything out there that changes someone’s free will. Now wait a minute . . . isn’t casting a spell to bring you true love – isn’t that changing someone’s free will, somewhere? Isn’t wishing and hoping for a change in someone’s nature, or an outcome – isn’t that a change – brought about by other than the normal flow? In essence, yes. We could argue back and forth about it all day – but the truth of the matter is … both sides would be correct. At the end of the day – it’s about what YOU… yourself… and no one else, believes. Am I right?

Well, if that’s the case – then what I see as good and positive, someone else in the world could easily view as negative. And vice versa. What is dark to some, is simply the way it is to others. Who are we to judge the thoughts, intentions, or actions of others? Shouldn’t we govern ourselves, first and foremost? People in glass houses…

It’s the same thing as trying to justify why you did something that others question. It’s your personal opinion on the matter. To some ancient, or otherwise, cultures – harming others is way of life. Sacrifice, destruction, degradation, plunder and pillage … its Mother Nature at her finest!

gty_joplin_tornado_thg_111208_wblog

She creates, she condemns, and she destroys – is she wrong?

No.

Okay, so you follow an Earth-based religion. Our glorious animal kingdom is about as Earth-based as it gets. They create, they judge, they condemn and they destroy. This is all instinctual, it’s their nature.

Great-white-shark

Are they wrong? Certainly not!

So, with all that being said. Who the hell are we to decide what is right and what is wrong?

I suppose one could split hairs and say well, it’s only really wrong if you are harming another, intentionally. Again, following the Rule and the Rede – whether it be intentional or unintentional – this is a no-no.

What about if someone harms someone you love and cherish – do you draw a line there?

Say, if your 14 year old daughter is raped and the perpetrator was never caught, or was caught, but then released due to lack of evidence. What do you do then?

You can’t honestly tell me – with a clean conscience anyway – that not a single ill thought would run through your mind.

Really?

Okay, let’s lie to ourselves some more. We, as humans, even in the reflection of the divine, are simply not built that way. We are vengeful – we are angry – we do feel emotions, to extremes sometimes… just like those we emulate. Gods and Goddesses, in every pantheon, are often swift with justice. And remember folks, there are ALWAYS two sides to EVERY story!

Ancient sacrifices were made in honor of them, in the hopes to bring prosperity, bountiful harvests, blessings and immeasurable other ways.

In my first, ever, blog – entitled ‘A Witch’s Voice’, I wrote about following my own personal path. I refer to myself as eclectic – but many philosophies use the word eclectic to describe views or heritage. I use the term eclectic to describe ME. My philosophies are not the only thing that are pulled from different sources and elements – but my entire makeup is of such. I am from a long line of cattle ranchers and rodeo cowboys, and yet while I love this lifestyle and my upbringing, I ride an iron horse. I was raised on country music and deep moral values, and yet I am covered with tattoos and love the darker things in life. I am an anomaly – in many, many ways – but in the words of Popeye the Sailor – “I yam what I yam and that’s all what I yam.”

Hecate-Enthroned

What I do is often viewed as “dark” – simply because it’s not the right-handed path that many follow. I prefer the darkness – so, sure, I will identify as “dark” –

Does that make it wrong? No.

My ancestors and Deities were there long before I came along – and the darker things in life must be dealt with. They cannot be swept under the proverbial rug and forgotten about until a later date. Some of the darker natures deal with things like rage, jealousy, curses, even death. These are natural reactions – instinctual, if you will – and so, they are very valid. We cannot simply pretend that they do not exist.

Please understand, I am not poking fun at those that follow such Rules, Redes, and Laws – I am simply stating that there are other ways of thinking and living. That this is not the ONLY way and therefore, those of us that do not follow such, should not be judged by those that do. And, I have known many a Witch and Pagan that adamantly follow such rules and laws, but cannot explain to me why or show any proof of it actually happening.

So, I want those of you that wish to invalidate my claim to contact me.

Either post a response here.

Email me at inexplicablethings@yahoo.

Convo me on my website www.inexplicablethings.com

Hell, send me a smoke signal or carrier pigeon if you need to – but tell me your direct experience that will invalidate my way of thinking.

Seriously – this is somewhat of a research project for me – I have yet to actually meet a single individual that can directly correlate a cause and effect based upon the Karmic Law – or the Wiccan Rede, for that matter. If this is you – please, please, tell me your experience. I will include any portion of said experience in a future posting, with your approval, of course, and it will make for future discussions.

Please – prove me wrong! Tell your friends! Tell your coven mates – give me your experiences!

I look forward to the feedback!

Packaged in a little gift box, black tissue paper and ribbons.

Krampus_poster

These will be slightly different than last season’s – and orders will ship out mid- to late November.

Pre-Order yours now, by messaging me or from our website: Specials & Pre-Orders

Who is Krampus, you ask?

krampus18

Well, he is the malicious, dark companion of jolly ol’ Saint Nick.

Krampus is known throughout many European countries as a figure of terror for “naughty” children.

Originally of demonic origin, and rumored to be of the great Loki’s bloodline, he is often seen wearing chains and is somewhat violent by nature. He carries switches of bundled birch branches, and a bag of punishment tools on his back – all used to beat wickedly bad children into a burlap bag and carry them off to horrible places!

Let’s not forget, however, that Krampus is merely doing his job!

Children that are naughty – through telling lies to teachers and parents, cheating, or  stealing – are to be punished by order of Krampus’ master, Saint Nicholas!

The severity of the crime will determine the punishment.

Krampus administers swats with his switch and after so many swats, the child who has learned his lesson is released and Krampus goes about his way.

If he drags them away . . . well, then, it’s obvious that wicked child did NOT learn their lesson!

So you better be good, for goodness sake!

Blood Moon Rising

September is an important month.

It is a wonderful harvest month –

It draws summer to a close –

It gives us the first official days of Autumn –

It is the month preceding October (only the greatest month, ever!) –

And, most notably, the Full Moon in September 2015 is quite special. This month’s Blood Moon, which is also known as a Lunar eclipse, is the final moon in what is known as a tetrad – or the culmination of four eclipses and is said to foreshadow prophesies for several religions.

(Amazing artwork found at CatsEyeStudio on Etsy! https://www.etsy.com/listing/186373168/blood-moon-photo-surreal-full-moon-art?ref=market)

Cat's Eye Studio Moon

These Blood Moon Prophesies originated in the Book of Joel in the Hebrew Bible. There it is written that

‘the sun will turn into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord comes.’

This phrase is also stated during Pentecost by Saint Peter, and is referenced in the Book of Revelation Chapter 6 Verses 11-13. Verse 12 says, ‘And I behold when he had opened the sixth seal and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood’

Many feel that this is an omen of the coming of the end of times.

I do not always follow the lunar phases – as I have found ways around the mundane waiting a week here or week there – just to work some magick! *wink* – there are ways around this… more about that at a later time! But, I do enjoy a powerful Full Moon – especially one that could be a harbinger for the end of days!

So, for this reason, I am offering a special on my magickal mix called Ghost Water!

Miss Sha's Ghost Water!

Miss Sha’s Ghost Water!

Miss Sha’s Ghost Water is perfect for use with séances and medium work, speaking to ancestors or honoring them, banishment and repelling of negative energies, breaking harmful habits – just to name a few.

But, of course, it can also be used for more nefarious purposes as well. Have a neighbor you really want to get rid of? Need to sever a connection with a person in your life?

I have put a lot of time and energy into working out all the kinks to this formulary recipe. It is both time and trial tested – with amazing results! I have several contacts among the spirit world and the Dead that assist with the entire process.

For this foreboding Moon, I have a special swampy, forgotten cemetery in mind – and it’s sure to please! I will gather up the water and relinquish it to a few cutely decorated, yet adorably creepy little bottles and will have it ready for your personal use by October 1! Just in time to contact lost loves, family members that have passed, or just to get in touch with your macabre side.

I will also be including quartz crystals – hand mined by me – as an amplifier for the qualities of the Ghost Water!~

Bottles will be chosen at random, corked & wax-sealed for transport. They will also be prayed over upon my own personal working altar – prior to shipping to their new homes!

Last year, I did this for clients, and was sold out rather quickly. This year, I will be adding a few extra bottles, but will be a limited supply. If  you are interested in purchasing one of these bottles of Ghost Water, please let me know ASAP. No payment required until your bottle is ready.

First come, first serve!!

Please email me at: inexplicablethings@yahoo.com or visit my website at InexplicableThings.com!

If you have a particular matter in mind for your Ghost Water – let me know and I will make sure my prayer energies are directed towards your needs. If you have a particular ribbon color you wish – let me know that, as well. I will also email photos of the entire process, so you know how your bottle is progressing!

$13 bottles (plus shipping) of Blood Moon Ghost Water – hand crafted and conjured by a Swamp Witch in the back bayous of Louisiana! Perfect!

And please note – these will NOT be the tiny little faery bottles you see on Etsy and Ebay – these are at the very least, 3 oz or larger.

Orishas/Lwas 101

02 Wednesday Sep 2015

Tags

Ancestors, Baron Samedi, Bayou, Blog, Cajun, Cemetery, Curse, Damballa, Ghede, Hex, Hoodoo, Louisiana, Lwa, Orisha, Papa Legba, Swamp, Voodoo

Just a quick little explanation of what an Orisha is.

Orishas (also known as Loas, Lwas, Mysteries or The Invisible) are basically the Gods – or the ruling forces of nature, and all serve different areas of human needs. They embody the traits of those areas in nature that they rule over. It is important to note that there are, literally, hundreds of Orishas – and based upon the type of tradition (Yoruba, West African, Haitian, Louisiana, etc) one follows will determine what you call them. They are divided into roughly 20 or 21 nations, which include Rada, Petro, Nago and Congo. With that being said, there are several that are commonly called upon, offerings made to, etc., and they correspond with Catholic Saints. To further complicate matters, the Lwa also fall into families with surnames: Ezili, Ghede, Ogou, etc.

Family traits are often seen as follows:
Ezili hold sway over the feminine aspects of life
Ghede hold sway over death, but also fertility, which are led by the Barons
Ogou are the soldiers/warriors
Azaka are the farmers/agriculturists

Some of the more common Lwas are:

Damballa-Wedo: very powerful sky serpent in Haitian Voudou. Symbolizes peace and harmony, also known as Papa Damballa and is associated with Saint Patrick. Offerings for Papa Damballa are eggs on a mound of flour, corn syrup, chicken. His color is white. Older, wiser and full of wisdom.

Ayida Wedo: wife of Damballa. Is the rainbow in Haitian Voudou. Symbolizes trees, springs, pools, rivers. Colors are white and blue. She shares her husbands responsibilities in the Sky.

Agwe: Married to Erzulie and La Sirene. Patron to seas, rivers, fishermen, sea captains, pirates. Thursday is his day. He is the Lwa of direction, inspiration and guidance during times of loss.

Yemaya: Mother of life on Earth. She is the guardian of the Sea. Her sacred number is 7. Her colors are aqua blue, white, translucent colors. Her symbols are anchors, mermaids, fish, anything associated with the sea.

Baron Samedi: Haitian Voudou Lwa of the Dead. He is one of my personal favorite! When you watch TV or movies and you see the man with the skeleton face and top hat, usually smoking a cigar – this is who they are attempting to depict. He is loud, rude and full of debauchery – but he is never insulting or disrespectful. He is suave and an extreme expression of individuality, and always fun. His colors are red and purple. He loves Rum and hot peppers.

voodoo

Maman Brigitte: The good Baron’s wife! The equivalent of the Irish pantheons Brigitte. She is the Voudou Lwa of comfort and protection during death – letting go. She loves black roosters.

Obatala: The Supreme God Olodumare – the closest that humankind can imagine… the hand of God. Sky father and the creator of human bodies. The Father of all Orishas! He is often offered snails, as a traditional offering.

Erzulie: Haitian Voudou Orisha of love – protector of women. She takes on many forms from prostitute to fierce warrior to red-eyed weeping crone. She manifests deep passion and seduction. She is the equivalent of a Triple Goddess and she has three husbands (Damballah, Agwe, Ogoun. She loves sweet things – so for her altar, sweet foods, bananas, perfumes, anything fried with sugar.

Ogun: Lwa of iron, war and labor. Almost always used first for war. Ogun clears roads with his machete. Number 7 is his number and his colors are green and black.

Shango: Ruler of lightning, thunder, fire, drums and dance. He is a warrior with exceptionally quick wits and an even quicker temper. He is virility embodied. Extremely hot-blooded, strong willed. His colors are red and white, his numbers are four and six. He is often represented by a double headed ax.

And the last I will mention this evening, my dearest Papa Legba. Also known as Elegbara, Elegua, Eleggua. He is the gatekeeper, the guardian of the cross roads and all doorways. He is the first Orisha approached when you wish to speak or work with any of the others – he holds the keys. Not uncommon – keys in sets of three are his symbol. His colors are red and black and his numbers are 3 and 21. He is a trickster – you had better know what you want, or he will take the long way around helping to get you where you want to be. Believe me… I am speaking from experience. The outcome was rough…but it’s essentially what I asked for. … I just didn’t realize it would come at the expense of other things. Lesson learned and since – he has been my favorite to work with. But then, the crossroads is where I choose to dwell and practice my brand of darker magic and voudou.

il_340x270.430942269_1opk

These are just a few of the more common Lwa. Again, there are hundreds. And this, in no way, is in order of importance, etc. I use them for nearly everything – and they are most gracious… when they choose to be. They do require a great deal of energy and admiration. But it is well worth it in the long run. If you want to learn more about this – let me know, I can gladly give you some websites or reading lists.

Please do not confuse Voudou (Voodoo) with Hoodoo – as they are two separate and very different things. I, personally, practice both – but it has taken me many years to get to where I am.

If you have any questions about what I practice, please do not hesitate to ask. Nothing is taboo with me or my family. (My husband is a demonologist and takes it to a whole new level.) We are open books. We, most assuredly, do not profess to know everything – we are seekers of knowledge.

In my life, I have studied Stregheria, Celtic paths, Dianic, Shamanism, Druids, and many others, but when I embraced my dark side – this is where I became most powerful.

I shy away from nothing –

I fear no karma…

I take full responsibility for what I do.

And I do the things that many other practitioners do not.

There is a time and place for it.

I have cursed –

I have hexed –

I have done what my clients wanted but were afraid to do on their own.

I am a spiritual guide and confidant. I have been on my own personal path for over 40 years – loving every minute of it. So, again, feel free to ask me anything at all.

If you require any of my services – or a special candle or gris gris made for you – please check out my new website at: http://www.inexplicablethings.com

Hello again, my minions!

I thought since I was on a roll, I might as well do another blog posting.

This is on one of the projects we have started since moving to the bayou.

The dear hubby read an article about turning compost into actual dirt – so thought he would give it a go.

We allowed the lawn (almost an acre!) grow for two weeks at a time. We collected all the grass clippings and started piling them in a particularly sunny spot on the property. After a week, he manually turned the clippings over and watered them down a few times.

Two weeks ago, he made a concoction of water, beer, soda and ammonia and attached it to a nozzle that hooked to the sprinkler. He gave everything a nice little soaking, while I mowed the lawn again and put all additional grass clippings in the pile. Oh, I forgot to mention, we also cleaned out the refrigerator a few times and had things like moldy cauliflower, bread crumbs and even some coffee grounds in the mix. He then used a small cultivator attachment for our weed eater to turn things over.

We had to fall a dead tree and used it as a border around our little compost heap.

For the next week, he watered the area a little each evening.

Finally, late Sunday evening, he decided to drop a few seeds on the ground. Now, mind you, these seeds were not pretreated or anything – they came right out of the package (we got a great heirloom mix from Eden Brothers at www.EdenBrothers.com ). Hoping for some growth before we got too late in the season.

Again, every evening for 4 days, he watered.

And behold…on the 4th day – life sprang forth!! He must have done something right.

Just goes to show ya… if you don’t have decent soil for growing vegetation… make it!

Now, we do live in the great state of Louisiana… so decent soil really isn’t much of an issue… but this is just an added bonus. I won’t have to add any potting soil or anything to me planters when I plant all my herbs!!

Super excited about this! And it’s renewable, sustainable, and downright good for you!

Now…about keeping the critters out – the next challenge!

More to come about this little project!

Greetings and Salutations from the bayou!

So many wonderful things have happened since last we spoke! I apologize for my absence over the last couple of months – but it will not be happening again.

As most of you know – my family and I moved not once, not twice, but three times in the last 6 or 7 months – but we are now firmly rooted (using that term loosely) in the bayou! We purchased a quaint little cottage on a little piece of land surrounded by life and trees and things that will bite you!

We are less than a mile from a beautiful lake that is home to the largest cypress forest in the world! It’s amazing here! I spend evenings on the porch or in the trees trying desperately to catch the millions of lightning bugs that put on quite a show each night. I feed the squirrels and vow to have one as a pet eating out of my hand by year’s end! I have a yard full of small toads and bright green lizards that invariably keep me company when I walk through the grass. I even have made friends with a small box turtle that keeps sentinel around the perimeter of the property. I love it here!

It has taken me a few months to settle in, set up shop, get my personal working altar up and running and begin some semblance of a normalcy that I can call routine. I have chosen a picture window in the living room that looks out towards the dense woods behind our home. This will be where many things come to pass! The hubby is working on an office-type set-up for me, but for now, a recliner and TV tray will suffice.

Things worth noting:

Inexplicable Things finally has its own website! *and the crowd cheers*

This only took about 7 years, but who’s counting?! It’s still under construction, but will most likely be a living, breathing, changing thing anyhow. I am using the site to focus on those fans of a darker nature. Those that need a little help and are afraid of who to ask for fear of being judged. We all could use some help sometimes… and sometimes that means doing whatever is necessary. There are a great many practitioners out there that focus on the good and happy – but what about when we need have that need for justice or vengeance gnawing at us? What about righting a wrong done to you? This will also be a place I can show off some of the bones and more nefarious wares that I stumble across in my travels. My cemetery photography will also be captured there.

So, for those that care to visit, please be sure to check me out at:

    www.inexplicablethings.com

I have completed my studies through Lucky Mojo’s Hoodoo / Rootwork Correspondence Course. It took me just about a year since starting, but I was able to complete it. Many of the things I learned, I already had a sense of understanding, but it also clarified a few things. I have a much better understanding of Hoodoo and Southern Folk Magic now – and I can combine that with my own brand of magic. This only makes me more powerful and able to do more for my clients.

I can say this… since combining Southern Folk magic and Hoodoo with the brand of magic I already practiced, I have seen amazing results. I am looking at close to 100% success rate, right now. I can’t wait to start helping even more! Seems like everyone has a niche, if they can just find it. I think I may have found mine – even if it does require lurking in the shadows!

So – being back down in the South and in particular, the bayou, has been a blessing. More to come!

In the meantime – please stop by InexplicableThings.com

Let me know if you are in need of any services that I haven’t gotten around to listing yet – or if you have something in particular going on in your life that you could use some help with, or just talk about. I’m always here – with an open ear.

More to come soon, my minions! Oh, how I’ve missed you!

Beginnings, Blog, Cajun, Candles, Color, Conjure, Etsy, Hello, Hoodoo, Inexplicable Things, Louisiana, Soy

And so, it’s been awhile, since I was able to properly visit this blog.

It’s been a whirlwind of change and adventure for my family. The husband and I made a quick trip to Louisiana in early January – all on the spur of the moment after looking at property on the internet. We met with a realtor at 10 AM and by 4 PM we were signing papers with a broker!

In late February, we up and moved from West Texas, back to our beloved state of all things Cajun. Needless to say – the previous month had been filled with struggles. With everything from the seller cutting down large pine trees to failed/forgotten appraisals. At the end of the day, we wound up deciding that there were simply too many odds against the property and it wasn’t meant to be ours.

Since then, we have found a place to call home for a bit, and I have been able to get back to my candle craft. I have reset my altar, and increased work on a few things. I am about to complete a professional photography certificate, as well as my certified Hoodoo Rootworking course. It’s a time of completion, as well as the anticipation of new beginnings to come.

I am finally to spot where I can offer my candle creations on Etsy again. These candles are all natural soy – which is clean burning, offers much fragrance throw and benefits the American soy bean farmer! My 8oz candles come in a high quality, reusable glass tumbler and packaged in a cute gift box.

They are all handcrafted and hand-poured – with love and happiness. They are not mass produced, nor fancy packaged – but they can be blessed to suit your specific needs.

Candles of a darker nature can also be had here – simply for the asking. More to come , soon, my pets!

Be sure to get over to my Etsy shop at: https://www.etsy.com/shop/InexplicableThings
